M Jean Rawson — Divorce Lawyer in Naples

M. Jean Rawson has been practicing law for over 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi and her masters of Science from Indiana University. In 1977 she received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School of Chicago. Ms. Rawson has been serving the Naples area since 1988. Ms. Rawson practices primarily in the areas of family law and special education law. As a certifies family law mediator, she handles divorce cases and post dissolution actions, domestic violence, probate and guardianship. Ms. Rawson is a former high school teacher and has been an adjunct professor at Indiana University, Purdue University, University of South Florida and John Marshall Law School, teaching school law to graduate students for over 15 years. She was an administrative hearing officer for the Indiana Department of Special Education and was the Compliance Specialist for the Exceptional Student Education Department of the School District of Collier County. Her book, "A Manual of Special Education Law", was published in January of 2000. Ms. Rawson is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Collier County Bar Association, and the Indiana Bar Association. She belongs to the Family Law Sections of those respective bars. She is very active in the Naples community, serving as a former President of the Women's Republican Club, and past Chair of the Collier County Code Enforcement Board. Ms. Rawson was selected as Collier County's "Woman Lawyer of the Year 1977".
